Role:
The role is comprised of the data analysis, data modeling and data
integration analysis . This individual will be focused on the data
integration and access needs from our information factories. The successful
candidate will require a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical business
process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively
with many groups across the organization at many geographically separated
locations.
Job Duties:
-Performs data model design and model management
-Creates and maintains
metadata
-Performs data quality analysis
-Performs source system
analysis
-Performs impact analysis
- Creates DDL for Oracle
databases
-Supports the Solution Delivery Business Analyst who is responsible
for project initiation analysis, requirements gathering and analysis for project
and sustain initiatives
-Supports the Technical lead, developers, testers and
the Business on data analysis inquiries
-Reviews deliverables for work done
by external data warehouse groups in a consultancy/advisory role
-Supports
the maintenance of processes and standards (including, but not limited to data
modeling standards)
Job Requirements:
-Experience working in the
pharmaceutical industry in either of the following disciplines: discovery,
research, or development.
-Minimum 2 years of experience working as a
data modeler for scientific or pharmaceutical research based databases.
-
Erwin Data Modeler experience – conceptual, logical, and physical model
generation.
