Responsibilities:
  
  
  
  
      
  • Participate in activities of all phases of the Release and Control process   
  • Provide input to the project management team for project plans and status reports   
  • Integrate activities with the Development Team and the Operations Team   
  • Interface with Corporate Change and Configuration Management and other CM Departments   
  • Understand the role of the Release and Control Manager   
  • Build and configure all Releases   
  • Work with
 tags/labels   
  • Identify potential SOX compliance issues   
  • Update release procedures   
  • Be comfortable with the UNIX command line   
  • Must be able manage multiple projects.
  
  
Qualifications: 
  
  
      
  •   
    Minimum 5 years experience developing code in C++ and JAVA and working on the full development life cycle of small to medium size development projects.
      
  •   
    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      
  •   
    Advanced knowledge of UNIX (SUN Solaris), Linux 
      
  •   
    PERL, XML, shell scripting ANT, makefiles, CruiseControl, continuous integration and extreme programming
    Rational ClearCase/ClearQuest, RUP Rational Unified Process and CVS
      
  •   
    Familiarity with Remedy and AutoSys
