Job Description:
  
      
  •   
     Review functional specifications
      
  •   
     Develop test cases
      
  •   
     Perform test executions
      
  •   
     Write simple to complex test automation
 scripts
      
  •   
     Diagnostics and debugging
      
  •   
     Track open bug reports
      
  •   
     Analyze test results
      
  •   
     Write test reports
  
Essential Skills:
  
      
  •   
    C, C++, Perl, Scripts, Winrunner, Java
      
  •   
    Ability to follow test automation project plans, architecture, coding assignments, & etc. 
      
  •   
    Excellent problem solving and debugging skills using common development tools 
      
  •   
    Automation test tool usage: WinRunner, Perl, Python, shell scripts 
      
  •   
    Experience with source code control systems, full software development project life cycles, and test driven development (tdd) 
      
  •   
    Test methods: white box testing, integration, regression, stress, load, performance, duration, end to end, etc. 
      
  •   
    Demonstrated programming experience with C, C++ or Java on UNIX (Solaris preferred and Windows a plus) 
      
  •   
    Understanding of client/server model, interoperability, internationalization, performance as it relates to testing 
      
  •   
    BS/BA/MS in computer science or related fields
