ECommerce/Web Developer
DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Continued
development/
programming and support of all corporate Internet and
Intranet
applications using ASP.NET 1.1/2.0, VB.NET 2003/2005,
C#.NET
2003/2005, SQL Server 2000/2005, HTML, XML/XSLT,
VBScript/JavaScript,
IIS, Webservice/AJAX, SourceSafe; (2) Code and unit
testing;
***This is a standalone position in that your core focus
will be the
development/redevelopment of the company Internet and
Intranet
applications. You will get to do it all, with no niche job
focus
limiting your skills. You will work in a team and as part of
a group,
but with primary responsibility for acting as the standalone
Internet
and Intranet application programmer. A great chance to work
with lots
of hot technology, for a fast paced, exciting, stable, and
growth
oriented company.
REQUIRED:
Strongly prefer an undergraduate degree with a focus on
Computer
Science or Engineering.
4 years of STRONG web based programming with STRONG ASP.NET,
VB.NET,
C#, MS SQL Server, XML programming of web based applications
(must
have e-commerce applications development).
Good oral and written communication skills, including the
ability to
communicate effectively with the project team, other
application teams
and clients.
Organization and time management skills are critical, as is
the
ability to multi-task efficiently.
Must continue to enhance technical knowledge and skills
through
research and experimentation, in-house and external
classes.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with a minimum
of
supervision.
Knowledge of system development techniques and tools.
Demonstrated ability in the design and development of
e-commerce
applications.
Proficiency with Microsoft personal productivity tools
(Excel, Word,
PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
