KEY EXPERIENCE:

Essential Functions
Extend, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot the extensive Rendezvous infrastructure

Extend, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot the growing stable of additional middleware systems

Administer and maintain configurations, scripts, and jobs running on middleware nodes

Track bug fixes and enhancements


Required/Preferred Qualifications
At least five (5) years of software development experience, with at least three (3) years experience in distributed systems development and/or operations in a heterogeneous environment required

Extensive hands-on experience with Tibco Rendezvous including an understanding of how RVD and RVRD work and are administered required

Understanding of additional RV tools (such as RVCache, RVTrace) a plus

Experience with one or more additional middleware products (such as IBM MQ, MSMQ, SmartSockets, Gigaspaces, RTI, LBM, or any other MOM/SOM products) strongly preferred

Strong understanding of several of the following networking concepts and their relationship to middleware required: broadcast, unicast, multicast, point-to-point protocols, routers, switches, network topologies, TCP/UDP and sockets
