Web Software Engineer
The successful applicant will have an excellent knowledge
and several
years of experience with .NET, C#, MS SQL, ASP.NET, and Web
UI design
and development.
In addition we are seeking a candidate who is able to work
well in a
development team, and to be able to interface with other
functional
groups such as customer support, Q/A and sales. The ideal
candidate
should have excellent written and verbal communication
skills, excel
in a fast paced environment and have completed a 4 year
degree in
computer science or a related field.
Responsibilities
* Design, implement, deploy, test, debug and support
Silverlight and
ASP.NET DB driven applications * Develop functional/design
specifications and assessment of customers' requirements *
Work with
QA department to assist in developing test plans
Skills
* Excellent knowledge of and advanced programming skills in
C# are
required, 3+ years experience programming in C# is required
* 3+ years
experience working with ASP.NET is required, experience
working with
MS AJAX is beneficial * Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Server
is
required, experience building and using databases in MS SQL
is
required * Good knowledge of Silverlight technology is
required,
experience working with it is beneficial, ability to
demonstrate some
samples created with Silverlight technology (managed code)
is very
beneficial * Experience with Web UI design is beneficial *
Ability to
work on multiple concurrent projects using the iterative
development
approach * Must possess good written and verbal
communication skills
and be proficient at working as an individual contributor as
well as a
technical lead for a team of developers
Education
* 4-year degree (BS or BE) in computer science or related
discipline
is required
