Software Development Engineer
To apply, you must be one or more of the following:
* A programmer with experience using C#, .NET 3.0 or WPF. *
A notable C
++/MFC developer with genuine interest in developing with
new
Microsoft technologies. * A human interaction designer with
tons of
programming hours logged (in any object-oriented language).
* A
developer with significant TDD experience and a test-first
mentality,
whatever the particular milieu.
In this environment, you must be willing to work
side-by-side with
other programmers across all areas of the code base. Code is
test-
driven, as much as conceivably possible, and we enforce that
process.
We do not groom specialists - developing quality code
throughout the
application is a responsibility shared by all team members.
We engage
a robust, tight-knit customer community on a daily basis.
The members
of that community gather requirements, create
specifications, write
tests in real time as the application is being developed,
and drive
the feature development schedule. To succeed on this team,
good
communication skills are a must.
You must be unafraid, technically. With new and still
emerging
technologies as our primary tools, there is often no body of
proven
knowledge to draw on for coding support. You must be willing
to try
and to fail; you will become accustomed to creating and
discarding
code as requirements and budget dictate.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor Degree 5 years of experience
using
Object Oriented languages
