·         Have 4 years of experience in IBM Mainframe including Analysis, Coding, Testing, Maintenance, Production Support and Application development of Business Applications

·         Extensive experience with languages like COBOL, JCL, Easytrieve, RPG/400,CL/400,QUERY/400, C, C++.

·         Writing services in COBOL and DB2 to retrieve data from database for the screens.

·         Very good experience in resolving maintenance requests assigned from the clients in the environments C VSAM, DB2, TSO/ISPF, VM/CMS, XPEDITOR, JCL, ENDEVOR, REXX, FILEAID, IMS DB, JES-2, JES-3, TSO, SDSF, ISPF, DFSORT, QMF, and CICS.

·         Working knowledge on RDBMS like DB2 and DB2/400.

·         Prepared Technical Design document and devised Testing Strategy.

·         Co-ordinate ISO (International Standard Organization) / CMM (Capability Maturity Model) activities.

·         Attended to production problems and provided production support 24X7 on call environment.

·         Developed and/or enhanced existing IT system.

·         Facilitated knowledge transfer from clients to the offshore development team in India.

·         Document and assist business analysts to perform acceptance/system testing.

·         Expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Production Support Life Cycle.
