Required
* Minimum of five
years experience including performance analysis and tuning
* Strong problem
analysis and resolution skills
* Advanced level knowledge of MQ Series
software configurations, including complex installations in large Enterprise
environments
* The MQ
Administrator will install, support and maintain servers in a distributed
environment.
* MQ Admin is
responsible for problem resolution, performance tuning and analysis, proactive
problem prevention, detection, circumvention and root cause analysis.
* MQ Admin
responsible for patching and upgrading server and client software to maintain
currency and enhance reliability and supportability.
* This is a 24x7
support environment, requiring participation in on-call rotations and responding
to break-fix calls as necessary.
* MQ Admin works closely with System
Administrators and Level 2 Application support to understand the needs of the
environment and identify opportunities for service
improvement.
