PROJECT
BACKGROUND:
Selling System utilizes a Pricing
subsystem which provides pricing services and data. ; Release 6.0 and 6.1,
planned for late 2005 through 2006 will extend this service to provide
additional capabilities and support additional products. The project
follows Freddie Mac's FTD (like RUP) methodology.
TECHNICAL
ENVIRONMENT: Unix, J2EE, DB2, .NET,
NT
REQUIRED SKILLS:
J2EE, java, weblogic,
Struts, Rational Rose, Rational Clearcase and Clearquest, Eclipse or other IDE,
DB2, SQL, DAO and other common design patterns, EJB, unix, shell scripts, DOORs,
webmethods.
DESIRED
SKILLS:
Solid communication skills, good
team-player, energetic, fast-learner, flexible. VB.NET, Sql Server, NT technology is also a
plus.
ROLE/DESCRIPTION:
Develop new or extend existing code
components, across the full spectrum of application layers (i.e. front, middle,
back-end). Understand and follow requirements documents, design and coding
standards, perform unit and component level testing, prepare test data sets,
resolve development and production defects. Follow all change management
and control standards. Interact with peers in other subsystem teams,
business engineers, and testing staff to identify, elaborate, and resolve
issues.

Some evening and weekend work will be
expected, particularly around production deployment timeframes.
