EN-590 Director of Local Search - Staff - Irvine, CA

A leading provider of wireless location based services (LBS)
is looking
for a Director-Level Product Manager to make their wireless
Local
Search solution the best in the industry.
The company is passionate about building the best wireless
search
platform on the planet. They are seeking a strategic,
results-oriented,
experienced Director-Level Product Manager to drive their
search
efforts forward.
In this position, you will define and execute product
strategy across
multiple Search products, with specific focus on Local
Search. This
role is a broad one, with hands-on responsibility for
creating products
that drive quality and revenue in conjunction with sales and
marketing.
This position requires a results-oriented, analytical guru
with the
zeal to push hard and deliver against goals. You will be
expected to
model and deliver products quickly that provide the
monetization of the
company's search solutions across all of their web and
mobile products
that results in strong ROI.

Requirements:
o. Passion and deep understanding of online search, local
search, and
advertising in local markets (Required)
o. 7+ years in product strategy, product planning, product
development
and product management experience in
technical/software/Internet based
companies (Required)
o. Strong technical background (working knowledge of HTML,
C++, Java,
SQL, experience with databases, and understanding of
client/server
technology) (Required)
o. Previous Profit/Loss responsibility in either the Service
or
Software industry. Experience managing products against
revenue and
cost objectives (Required)
o. Experience developing market requirement documents (MRD),
product
requirement documents (PRD) and product launch requirements
(PLR)
(Required)
o. Demonstrated experience understanding global market
changes and
their business implications, and planning for those changes
(Required)
o. College degree in a relevant technical discipline is
required; a MBA
preferred
