EN-600 Software QA Manager - Staff - Emeryville, CA
Salary: BOE + stock options
A leading network company needs Software QA Manager to will
lead a team
of QA Engineers for a line of client server and broadband
network
devices. You will work closely with Development and Product
Management
to ensure the highest quality products. The successful
candidate will
provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members
as well as
being able to function as an individual contributor at
times, taking
responsibility for particular aspects of the product. Other
responsibilities include planning, scheduling, estimating
test efforts,
leading the design and implementation of test plans,
analyzing test
results and report findings, and ordering and maintaining
test lab
equipment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem solving
skills are
essential.
Requirements:
o. BSCS and 8+ years of QA experience (Required)
o. 3+ years in leading a team of QA engineers (Required)
o. Networking background in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPv4, IPv6,
PPP, HTTP,
etc (Required)
o. Telecommunications experience to include: ATM, xDSL,
SNMP,
VPN/IPSec, VLAN, QoS (Required)
o. Network device experience to include:
Routers/NAT/Firewall device
configurations (Required)
o. Experience with wireless technologies - 802.11x
(Required)
o. Experience with networking applications such as VoIP,
Remote Access,
Web Applications (Required)
o. Experience with various test tool & development
techniques such as
package capture, regression testing, load testing (Required)
o. Experience in designing automated test scripts and tools;
experience
using Perl (Required)
o. Working knowledge of Unix/Linux;
