Strategist 


Salary $120k-$150k

Job Requirements:


Successful candidates will have the following CORE

  • Infrastructure Systems management experience in a large corporate 
  environment 
  
  • Leadership (People Management) - Excellent leadership 
  skills, strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) 
  skills are required for interaction with all levels of corporate officers and 
  senior managers within IT and other business units. 


Successful candidates must have:


    
  
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business 
  Administration, related technical field, or equivalent combination of 
  education, training, and experience. 
  
  • 15-plus years of experience in Information Technology including 10 
  years in the field performing: 
  
      
    
    • Complex and conceptual analysis, 
    
    • Consulting, 
    
    • Project management, 
    
    • Providing recommendations for business infrastructure systems. 
    
    
  
  • Communication skills 
  
  • Influencing skills 


Successful candidates must have experience in:


    
  
  • Providing consultation to senior leadership for long-range 
  planning for new or projected areas of technological research, advancements 
  and alignment with the enterprise direction and supporting strategies. 
  
  
  • Leveraging industry knowledge and interpersonal skills to align, 
  integrate and enhance enterprise technology and business solutions and their 
  integration and alignment to Infrastructure Services; 
  
  • Leading the integration of infrastructure solutions and business 
  processes using common methods; 
  
  • Fostering and encouraging solution reuse within the enterprise; 
  
  
  • Identifying new ways to leverage technological applications which 
  require strategic decision making or recommendations that have long-term 
  impact at the enterprise and organization’s level; 
  
  • Facilitating discussion and driving consensus towards a shared 
  common architectural vision / objective; 
  
  • Transforming business and information flows into architectural 
  layers and components with an ability to describe complex technical 
  architectures in business terms; 
  
  • Developing/maintaining/communicating processes and standard 
  practices related to the design, development, and implementation of enterprise 
  application solutions and patterns; 
  
  • Inventing highly advanced technology and/or published articles on 
  technology or theories; 
  
  • Application portfolio management and development of application 
  architectures 
  
      
    
    • Includes familiarity with architecture standards and governance 
    processes, methodologies for application development and integration; 
    
    
  
  • Researching vendors, new technologies, and utility 
  industry/technology trends.
