Job description: Programmer/Analyst for Siebel Analytics development With an integrated suite of applications, Siebel Life Sciences, Web Methods, Wireless and other technologies, Medtronic maximizes the benefits of investments in customer relationship management. Requirements: * Siebel Analytics 7.x dashboard and metadata repository configuration * Knowledge of the range of Siebel Analytics capabilities * Ability to work well in a collaborative environment * Flexible and adaptable in rapidly changing spec situations * Conversant with relational data design and ETL issues and problems * Able to communicate effectively with end-users, data architects, and database administrators * Willing and able to effectively share knowledge with other project participants * Willing and able to work closely with end-users throughout definition, construction, and user testing; i.e., not reliant upon closely-written functional specifications * Willing and able to invest extra effort if required to meet aggressive deadlines - productive under timeline pressure.

Responsibilities:

* In close and rapid collaboration with end-users, develop Siebel Analytics functionality from high-level specifications

* Write and illustrate description of functionality in tandem with software development

 * Contribute to data modeling design and data population (potentially including data hygiene solutions) as needed

* Develop and execute thorough unit tests, and assist with development and execution of User Acceptance Tests.

 * Respond rapidly and effectively to repair defects discovered in deliverables Skills:

* Good oral and written communication

* Demonstrated time management skills

* Proactive client engagement skills Education:

* Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent career experience

* Siebel Analyst certification a plus Experience:

* 2+ years̵7; experience with Siebel Analytics 7.x, including dashboard and metadata repository configuration and knowledge of the range of capabilities

* 6+ years̵7; experience as a software developer

* Direct experience with prototype construction and iterative software development

* Experience documenting technical processes and test results

 * Experience with the issues surrounding multiple parallel development work, and promotion between development instances
