How do you pronounce Perforce?

This has nothing to do with Perl, but I figured someone on
this list 
would know...

Is it PER-force or per-FORCE?

It seems like everyone calls Linux "LIN-ux" now,
but the way people say 
Perforce varies from company to company.

Glad you asked! The emphasis should be on the second
syllable 
(i.e. 'per-FORCE').

When used in the context of this list, as a proper noun, I
usually pronounce it with more or less equal stress on the
syllables to
distinguish it from the adverb "perFORCE". Just
seems more natural
that way.
