Day 2 : 4.0mg
Morning has been ok. Waiting for the worst tonight. Hopefully it
won't be as bad with a smaller step, and with any luck, her body
getting more used to the dropping.
So I left off on Day 2 of 4.0mg. Here is the continuation.
Day 2 : 4.0mg
While I had expected the evening to get worse, particularly with the
horrible experience of the week before, I was pleasantly surpised.
Other than some restlessness, and some grinding of teeth, things
were relatively ok.
Day 3-8 : 4.0mg
These days were pretty mild...some symptoms of heaviness, nausea,
and a bad dream here and there but not too bad. I was almost worse
just waiting for the other shoe to drop. There were some periods,
actually quite a few on day 3 and 4 of increased sensitivity...and
even an episode of extreme sensitivity...I mean emotional
sensitivity. All in all it was similar to the weeks prior to last
week.
Day 1 : 3.0mg
A little dizzy, a little tired.
Day 2 : 3.0mg
Not too bad until the evening. Besides being tired and heavy, she
was very angry...for no real reason...just pissed off. The night
was somewhat difficult due to lots of bad dreams and waking up. All
in all, a crappy experience, but still not as bad as last week.
Day 3 : 3.0mg
More than halfway through the day and this morning was pretty bad.
High anxiety, overwhelmed feelings, shaky, nervous, tired. Nausea,
stomach ache...She stayed home and slept the first part of the day.
Has been ok since, but had some increased irritability, and some
increased anxiety. All in all things are going well.
A couple of conclusions-
1) Heaviness is substantially amplified by tiredness.
2) Water is essential...fell off the drinking water kick a couple of
times and it hasn't been good.
3) The Vitamin B complex is really making her stomach upset (even
when taken with food) so we are dropping it!
4) At the 4.0mg drop, we added 50mg of 5-HTP...seemed to help quite
a bit. At the 3.0mg drop, we added 50mg more.
