Just my opinion, but my sister got hooked on Effexor and it was horrible.  Effexor caused her to have strange behavior and she became sick and had nausea alot. ; This is just an opinion but the few people I know that take Wellbutrin seem to be "ok" not great but "ok" so if I ever tried anything else, that would be it. May I ask any in here that have finally gotten off of Paxil why they feel they need to take another drug? ; The reason I ask is I have been off Paxil so long now and I feel so much better.  Don't let one day of depression make you feel like you are needing pills.  Honest, everyone has days of depression...we are not alone in that area. ; I used to think because I got depressed, I needed meds. ; I do think some people need medicines and I just pray the doctors can tell the difference because its hard. I have studied our past family history and I know of some family that needed it and some did not but everyone went on medicines except for one person and she seems to have done pretty good in life. ; She is who inspires me now since she is 78 yrs old and she said everyone gets depressed but if it does not last for days, that is how she would determine regarding any medicines. I used to get depressed for days before Paxil and after being on it for years, I am ok now...but I have not taken anything since Sept 2005.  I might have had 2 hrs of depression since then so that is pretty good. ; I think Paxil helped me in a way but it hurt me in more ways. Did anyone else become a clutter bug taking Paxil?  I can't believe the stuff I have now that I need to throw out...Why I kept it is beyond me.  Some of the stuff I don't even remember buying.  I bet I have over 1 million articles of clothes and I wear maybe the same 20 in a weeks time. ; What am I doing with this much junk!!!! Now that I am "awake" I can see more clear.  I would give anything if clean sweep would come to my house.  I will never get rid of this junk. :(
