Ooops. I mis-read your message. I thought you were
starting from scratch.
I use a Linksys router and adapters with the SecureEasySetup
feature so I
can not give you specifics because I've never had to do it.
When I added two laptops to our network, they both had a
Wireless Network
Wizard that simply asked for the password to the router and
it then went and
collected all the other settings it needed to connect.
Gawd! I just love automatic!
If your equipment is not that user friendly, perhaps Gman or
KBCowboy can be
more help. Or, if available, get the person that set up the
original
network to help you add the new computer.
Be aware that with the outdoor space you may be stretching
the range limits
of your router. That might require a new router or new
antennas for the
router.
