certain programs do not work with a screen reader set at to
low or high of a
resulution
for example the jaws scripts to make itunes work you have to
set the screen
resulution to 800 buy 600 pics
also windows will not work properly as far as things reading
to me unless
the screen res is set correctly.
that and I do have sighted friends who like to watch videos
etc so that is
why I was wanting to know
as far as the moniter being off
on my linux computer the moniter is off 99.9 percent of the
time cause I
don't need it on unless some one is reading the screen to me
I can't turn off this lcd on my imac.
thanks
hank
