GMan,

Haven't used this computer enough to know if yellow is it's
normal color or
not. I bought it at a yard sale back in the summer. Tinkered
with it a
little and it has worked fine since. My grandson uses it
when he's here to
play World of Warcraft. I used it myself for three days last
week and all
was fine. The light burns solid yellow, no flickering, for
about a minute,
then goes off. The PS fan is spinning.

Monitor and cable ruled out!

Hard drive light burns yellow is my next wonder. Is yellow
its normal color
on your machine? If so, does the light flicker while the
computer is
supposedly booting up or does it go directly to a solid
yellow? Also, you
said that fans are spinning, but make sure the PS fan
specifically is
spinning.

Peace,
GMan

Jo Ann,
Do any of the internal sounds go away when that light
goes out? I'm
wondering if it's actually the power light instead of a hard
drive activity
indicator. Also, make sure the power cable is reseated in
the back of the
PC, just in case the system just isn't getting enough
juice.

Does the monitor show any part of the BIOS info? Does
it immediately
show the 'no signal' warning or does it wait until the PC is
almost done
supposedly booting?

Peace,
GMan
