Well, Yahoo allows just so much inactivity to pass before
they automatically
disable an account. Perhaps he hadn't used it in a while.
If that's the
case, there may be a way to reactivate it so it can be
properly deleted as a
profile. On the other hand, if they're already turning away
would-be
lookers, it's just about as good. (no access for the public
to his profile)
