Most people seem to think Arctic Silver 5 is the best. Looks
like it is
$15.99 a tube plus shipping at Newegg where I'm buying my
other stuff.
Ouch! Is it worth that?

Don't know what the going rate is now-a-days for price, but
ANY of the premium pastes, including Arctic Silver, will
help shave off a nice 10-20 degree benefit over the crappy
ones that come with the cpu or heatsink. So, even if its
$15, its worth it. Plus... that tube will last you a long
time. Actually, unless you plan on building multiple
systems, that'll probably go to waste before you can
actually finish it. Cause, for your purposes, you only need
literally a drop on the cpu.
