ML I just dealt with the same problem. Never found what made
it do that. After you run the defrag you get the pop up
saying defrag finished not all files could be defragged.
There are 2 boxes below the that message, one say repot the
other close. Click on report. This will bring up another
box with 2 white rectangles in it. The top is info on what
it did, the lower box should tell you what files could not
be defragged.
BTW I ended up doing a reformat to correct the problem,
