Hi Glo,
I think you have to make the settings in Plain Text
mode it will not be an option in HTML/Rich Text mode.
I don't use OE so I can't check the setting.

Hi Mike, I still have not been able to find this word wrap

where might it be? I've followed the steps someone gave a

but
it isn't there when I find it. I went to
tools>options>send>HTML
settings,
then I can see a grayed-out area where it tells how many
characters, but I
can't change it. I don't NEED to, but wonder why this
option isn't
available? ~Glo

Hi Sandi,
try seting the Word Wrap to 72 characters or less.
see if that helps.

Sandi,
Got my Maxtor external drive today. To describe the size,
it's about the
size( a little bigger) as a VHS (vcr) tape, but heavy. It's
enclosed in
a plastic case and has a plastic stand if you want to use it
upright. It
comes with a power cord and a 6 ft. USB cable. the only
instructions is
how to mount on stand and hook to computer , duuh. the
paper does give
a website, but I haven't looked at it. .

Thank you Jo Ann! I just ordered mine. I was glad to hear
there is a power
cord as I looked and could not find an extra. Hopefully my
software
(Acronis True Image 9.0)will be helpful since there are no
instructions with
the HD.
Thanks again. Really appreciate it.
Sandi
P.S. And we must not forget that we have excellent tech
support right here
on the list!

To add a bit.....I think the case is aluminum unless they
changed it. Also, once you hook it up, there is software to
load and it tells you the rest of what you need to know

Well KC,
I guess they've changed it. Took another look at it to make
sure. This
one is plastic. I feel so bad today, I thought I might have
been
mistaken.I'm thinking I'll just lay mine on it's side if
it's ok. If I
put it on that stand, it will get knocked over for sure.

No problem. I would just set it up unless you think
someone will accidently hit it. Mines been up for a long
