    SirTroth just recently sent in a recommendation on the
enclosure he

All my externals are AMS brand Venus externals. There's a
few different models, some being for IDE drives, some for
SATA drive... then you have some that connect to the PC via
USB 2.0 and some that connect via firewire, as well as some
having connections for both.

These are nice drives. They're made of aluminum to help keep
the unit cool, they have a fan, and they have an external
power source (otherwise, you'd have to power your device via
your USB connection, which is generally the best idea since
USB is limited by the amount of power it can supply).

Take note, too, that this unit I linked to here has 348
reviews, and an average of 5 out of 5 starts from those
actual customer reviews. Not bad, if I must say so myself!

I saw Troth's suggestion G, but I wasn't looking to put too
much into one as 
it will be used only as an emergency boot drive...thanks,
looking around on 
eBay..
