It's minutes and I've read a suggestion to do it while
showering.
Commercial mouthwash makers also recommend holding in their
products longer
than most folks think they can stand. :O)

Just went to the Dentist to have my teeth cleaned and
specifically asked if hydrogen peroxide was used for
whitening
teeth. The answer was yes. So I swish a capful in my mouth
for
30 seconds right before I brush my teeth. If it does kill
bacteria, then the plaque will not build up.

As for the 10 minutes -- that's probably so the teeth will
whiten but I figure 30 seconds twice a day will do the same
over
a period of time.(smile)

BTW my teeth are looking good since I started. It is for
external use and if you don't swallow it what harm can it
do.
The foaming it produces is a kick when I spit it out. And
by
immediately brushing my teeth I don't have the residual
taste of
the hydrogen peroxide.
