Another strange Thing today with the E drive. Just for
ha-ha's I defraged it again today. There is no green area,
unmovable files, there now. It's just vanished. Also when I
do the check disc nothing comes up wrong, however the one
that you can run when you restart you computer runs from
that screen, not on the restart.
I burned all the program files I could by using the my
computer connection. tried to burn ie favs and desktop but
kept getting errors and And the box would close.
Believe I'm going to try to find the link that was posted
not to long ago ( unless someone can repost it ) to a site
where you can down load a program that will erase everything
on a hard drive and then I'll just reinstall XP and go from
there.
I won't do that right away so if anyone has anyideas of
what else to try let me know.
Thanks
Steve.

Steve,
You'll only see those unremovable items on the partition
that the OS is
using. Than means if you're using the OS on the E
partition, you'll only
have unmovable items on the E partition. To defrag E,
change over to an OS
that resides on a partition other than E.

Peace,
GMan
