I need to print out an Exel spred sheet. I am using Open
Office because I don't hve Exel... but the printer refuses
to print accurately. It keeps printing out the spred sheet
in halves. The bottom half on one page and top half on
another page...?? No matter how I set up the printer it does
that. I went into the page directions for printing and for
the OO program but it still insists on printing in halves.
Anyone got any ideas how to correct?...sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Format>Page>Sheet>Scale
Choose page width and height as 1

Should work now..

how and where do you do that? I am very unfamiliar with
printer or program settings and just kind of hobbled into
the settings poked around and reset what looked like would
work.. obviously it didn't.

You adjust these settings within the OpenOffice spreadsheet
program.

If the print text is not readable, keep the width as 1 but
increase the
no. of pages in height. File>Print preview to see how it
looks, and
increase the height till it is OK.

I got two fairly decent print outs but not wide enough so I
moved the setting two more numbers up and then it went back
to splitting the sheet in two on two separate pages. Now it
won't adjust back to what I got that was fairly good. I am
about to give this program the delete key.... phhhht.

you must have increased the width instead of the height

No matter what I do at this point it's still printing bottom
half on side of one sheet and top half the next sheet on
lower side.... I am very frustrated..... the funny thing is
it previews just right.. It just won't print that way. I
don't know what's going on.
