I 'think' she got it from comp usa... it's not a locally
built machine, I am pretty sure of that. She avoids
answering certain questions.

Problem is that sometimes if the system is one built from a
local shop or such, they will many times use the same key
for multiple installs. So, sure, that could be an issue.
Where did she get the system?

Avoiding answering certain questions...makes me
suspicious.... ??

I would just advise her.... while you do not want to tell me
WHERE you got 
your computer...I strongly suggest you go back to that
source and let them 
have it!
She should tell them... she gave them legit money..and she
wants a legit 
computer.
