-=PCTechTalk=- SP1 & Time Patch

XP Home & SP1.  Can I get the patch? 
We tried putting SP2 on here a long time back and nothing
worked right.  I uninstalled it and don't want to try it
again.  I've been running on the same install for 5 years
now and I don't want to mess things up.  So, can I get the
patch with SP1?

According to microsoft site http://
support.microsoft.com/gp/dst_topissues
you need SP2...... SP1 is not supported.
