Pat,
The fish pond sounds like a good idea. lol

This has happened to me a long time ago, but I was never
able to resolve
it. Since then, I've learned a lot more about how OE works
and I have
something for her to try. This will not hurt OE in any way,
even if it
doesn't help resolve this particular issue.

Close OE
Open up Search and type in '*.dbx' into the Named area.
Press Enter.
In the resulting list, locate and delete the file called
Folders.dbx. (this
file is responsible for keeping track of all of the folders
inside OE, but
it sometimes gets corrupted and needs to be 'refreshed'.
When OE is
started, it will be recreated without the corruption)
Restart OE and try downloading new email.

If that doesn't work, have her buy a fishing pole.
  ;O}

Peace,
GMan
