Hello Steve,
I prefer the stand-alone readers. I used FeedDemon
(NewsGator product) a while ago and thought I'd registered
it but I could not find the license. That's why I started
over to look for a new one. The two I picked were very
robust, and are FREE <chuckle> No ads, nothing.

...and one came with Dilbert as a sample - I love Dilbert

No sense being pessimistic, it probably wouldn't work
anyway.

I use newsgater, for RSS. Use the online version. They also

have some offline versions but I've never tried them.
Also have you tried the Sage reader that is on Firefox
add-on?
I could never get it set up for the diferant feeds I like,
so
only used it for BBC and yahoo sports.

After spending a few hours reading reviews of
RSS/Podcast/blog readers, I'm
testing two -- Omera and GreatNews. I would appreciate some
input -- for those
who use readers, can you send me a list of your "top
ten" (or more) links?? I'm
going to build a list, and test both readers as I do it. I'm
interested in
topics like:
News
Law
Humor
Guns and Gun laws
Software
Computers
Technology
Cars

Send me input on or off list - depends on how popular the
topic is I guess

They said some guy arrested for murder in Las Vegas had
"a history of
questionable actions". Can you imagine if we were all
held to that standard??
