My son is considering it in Fairfax County VA.
Some kind of package, internet, TV, phone, I think
the suggestion was $39 per each item. He hasn't
made a decision.
My highrise condo was fiber optic wired quite a
number of years ago in anticipation of cable
internet, it was done by the cableTV company (then
Jones, now Comcast). I used their package for
internet/TV for awhile, it was pretty high priced,
a phone was not available as part of the package.
Now I use Verizon dsl, use Verizon hard wire
phone, use Verizon cellular, they were all
acquired separately at different times. I am not
sure I want to put them in the same bag. I still
use a very low cableTV tier for decent reception
in the highrise, that is still with Comcast, I
suspect Comcast eventually will make an effort to
enter into competition with Verizon and offer me a
telephone system.
I am counting on the lowest subscription price
winning my favor.
