Many uninstall programs leave traces of the original program
behind.
Your profile folder is in C:\Documents and
Settings\Owner\Application 
Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ky2x3ez2.default
(Substitute your own user 
name) and contains the info you're talking about.
I assume it wasn't removed during the uninstall, hence the
sameness.
By the way, I've begun to prefer FF since I got IE7. With
FF, the text 
gets larger with the scroll wheel, with IE7 the whole damn
page gets 
bigger such that I have to scroll sideways. Who thought that
one up?
