Why? Black lists are a legitimate way of banning email and
IP addresses,
the fact that they inconvenience a few is less important
than the many they protect.

Someone must have mistakenly reported an email as being sp*m
and sp*mcop
have added it to their lists. An email from the site
concerned should get the ban
swiftly lifted.

On average, my email filtered through sp*mcop results in 2
sp*m emails per month.
I think the odd missed email is a small price to pay for
such a success rate.
It seems an odd decision to attack sp*mcop for succeeding.
Like any database
it can only be as good as the information it contains, and
yes there will be times
when it blocks emails that are not sp*m. But let's not
shoot the wrong guys, and
let's not make them so ineffective that email once more
becomes a scourge rather
than an a mild annoyance.
