PCWorks: yahoo mail time zone

        I went to the Yahoo site and accessed
"Log into Yahoo! Mail.  Left click My Account.  Under
Member 
Information is a place to set the Time Zone.".
They do list the correct time zone as eastern but they have
done
this from information submitted to them. This is not
selectable.
The only selection you have is the country you are in.

I guess the time stamp they use is Pacific because they are
located there.  Many of the early programs (80's, 90's)
used Pacific
time for there calculations. Most of the programmers lived
there.
