Thanks, Ben, I reinstalled EverNote, also installed this
"Web Clipper"
extension according to the instructions given. Note that
after the entire
installation (which is very quick) there is no Uninstall
file that one usually
finds with a program. So I uninstalled EverNote from the
Add/Remove in the
Control Panel. No change; the line is still in the Firefox
context menu.

Maybe it is Firefox I should uninstall again but this time I
should delete
those configuration files that you mention. Before sending
this email, I again
uninstalled Firefox from Add/Remove, also using Search,
removed it's folder
that remains in Program Files, and removed all references to
Firefox in the
system except the setup files. Then using RegSeeker, removed
all Firefox
references in the registry. Firefox is now reinstalled and
behold, there are
my bookmarks like they're ingrained in the setup file, and
there is EverNote
in the context menu (that I can do without but now it's a
matter of
curiosity). Where does one find the configuration files of
Firefox? ---

When you uninstalled Firefox, you didn't delete the
configuration files and
other stuff that's why everything came back including
Evernote. I tried
Evernote and deleted it and I don't have that menu option
anymore. Why don't
reinstall Evernote and uninstall it again.? Maybe you had a
glitch the first
time. Get the latest version of Evernote from the Mozilla
site. If that
doesn't work let us know. --- Ben Moore

>> Original Problem
>> I'm using Firefox and recently I installed a
program called "EverNote" ...
it is supposed to enable the saving of a webpage, or text
from a webpage, or
any notes that one wants to make available. It's cute but I
find it
unnecessary (I keep a Notepad "To Do" file on my
desktop with updated
information and that does the job). So I removed all
reference to "EverNote"
using Search, and all reference to it in the registry using
RegSeeker. So as
far as I can see, "EverNote" no longer exists in
my system. And here's the
clincher:

>> In Firefox, when right-clicking any page, the last
line in the context menu
is, "Add to EverNote" ... next I uninstalled and
re-installed Firefox, gave a
full reboot to the computer, and that context menu line
still exists (even all
my bookmarks still exist but that I don't mind). Any
suggestions? ... Harold
