Harold you can set Firefox as the default browser through
the "Set
Program Access and Defaults" panel in the XP start
menu, as well as
through the "Tools, Options..." menu in FF.
Interestingly, there is a list of 9 reasons to not upgrade
to the newly
released version of FF
