I am running Windows XP Pro. I have Avast Antivirus, Spyware
Doctor and
Xoftspy on my system.
Since last week Xoftspy has been reporting that I have
Haxdoor trojan on my
system. It reports that it has been removed but each time I
scan with
Xoftspy it detects the problem again. I have scanned with
System Restore off
but have had no success in removing Haxdoor. None of the
other spyware
programmes I have used (Spyware Doctor, Spybot, Adaware)
detect this trojan.
I have tried to register with the help desk of Pareto Logic
(makers of
Xoftspy) but I have not had any response even though I have
tried
registering using different e-mail addresses.
I would really appreciate any help I can get with this
problem. I am suggest
to the digest of this list so please feel free to send a
copy of your
message directly to me at stevied cwjamaica.com if you need a
prompt
response.
