I just use Adaptec's ECDC (now Roxio). Put in the CD, a
blank
CD in the burner, then "copy". You can't just
drag all the
files to another CD? If it's a CD that just backup data on
it,
you can do that. But if it's a copy of a CD with the hidden
files for automatically installing and running of software,
you
can't just drag 'n drop files from it because that won't see
the needed hidden files.

Is there a way of making a backup of a CD
that has both data and sound on it?
I have copied the CD to the hard drive and the
program runs well from there, but Nero seems
confused when asked for a copy to be burned
from the CD.
