What it all boils down to is how well your email address(es)
are protected. By yourself, AND how well protected by your
ISP
or email provider since many of them sell members'
addresses,
like Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo.
Even if your ISP or email provider doesn't sell it, if it's
on
a webpage somewhere, or email list archives, chances are it
WILL eventually be attacked.

I receive several hundred e-mails a day often more. Between
my
rules in
Outlook 2003 and Zone Alarm Pro I have very little issue
with
junk
mail/spam/phising etc.
I have always found manual black listing/white listing a
complete waste of
time.
