Have you guys never heard of someone mistakenly sending a
message to the
wrong list?

A mistake is one thing. Deliberately using a technical list
like this one
to trumpet one's political convictions is intolerable and
calls for an
apology to the group. Not a fudge, or a slippery piece of
self-justification, but a straight apology.

You're forgiven. It's been really dead anyway.
