Hell All,

I just got my Mom a new laptop with Vista on it. She's
addicted to AOL and
can't (won't) do anything online without it. My
problem............AOL will
not run on Vista. I can't even log into to it because it
keeps saying "an
error occurred due to low memory." The laptop has 1 GB
of memory and no
other programs are open. It has Norton Security Suite on it
and I tried
disabling that. Same error message comes up. I searched on
google and in
the AOL help files and forums and found several references
to folks having
this problem with Vista and AOL9.0VR, but nobody could offer
a solution.

Any ideas out there??

Thanks!

Janet

Nobody needs AOL's software to access AOL.
Just go to www.aol.com and login.
There's very little you can't do this way.
The memory error probably refers to virtual memory. Most
experts
recommend 2GB minimum for Vista, and that may help
