I have now done this.  It will be an improvement.  Thanks!

BTW--with Win98, this folder is Windows/SendTo.  No
"documents and 
settings/user name.  Why did this have to get so
complicated??

That's the reason things are crashing and why sendto is in
a different
place.  It's Windows 98.  WindowsXP is much more stable. 
If Win98 does all
you need, then that's fine.  Glad the shortcut works.
