Ben,
I'm so sorry. The issue is that the installation of Word
has apparently
changed all of my .txt files to .doc files that open with
Word. However,
if I change the association of .doc files to WordPad, THIS
is when my
computer crashes. It simply freezes--no BSOD. Cursor
freezes, and I have
to turn off the computer with the button on the tower.
CTRL/Alt/Del won't
even work.
