Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition (Beta 2)

I've just downloaded VC++ 2008 Express (Beta 2) and tried
out bleadperl
with it.

Remarkably, it seems to work (builds and passes all tests)
with only the
very minor changes in #31761. It also seems not to require a
separate
download of the Platform SDK any more: it installs all the
SDK files
necessary for building perl itself (into C:Program
FilesMicrosoft
SDKsWindowsv6.0A).

I downloaded the IMG file (CD image, about 450MB) and
installed directly
from that without needing to burn it to a CD first by using
the
"Microsoft Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel",
