Porters,

I've been trying to receive the access instructions from
testdrive.hp.com in order to access their VMS boxes. The web
page has
been saying for the last 3 days that I've tried that they
have sent the
mail to me, but even if I tail /var/log/maillog I don't see
the faintest
suggestion of a connection.

I have my username and password. If someone could mail me
the
instructions off-list, I'd be most appreciative.

Thanks,
David

Received. Most appreciated, thanks. Now to remember how the
VMS editor
works.

You should be able to use VIM by creating a foreign command
(shell alias).

vim :== $gnu:[bin]vim

Then the C<vim> command should work for you. It may
require UNIX style
pathnames as the stuff in gnu:[bin] has generally not been
tested in VMS
mode.
