Thread: matching up curly brackets

matching up curly brackets

Does anybody have a program/utility which will match up left
with right curly/square brackets in source code and find
what's missing? The syntax checker only points me to the end
of the program for a missing curly or square bracket. I have
if and for indented paragraphs but also have if statements
with left and right brackets on the same line and multiple
statements on the same line.

Thanks for any help

Bob

not sure if this is of immediate help, but the editor vim
allows you
to jump to a matching {} or () by pressing % in normal mode.
 There
are also scripts that automatically highlight the matching
brace.
