Zip perticular file in a directory

Hi All,

I  am very new perl world. I need script very urgently. I
want this
script run on Windows(without using Unix Commands):
Can anyone help me.

Assume the following:
    - A number of directories that contain files to be
archived
(configurable)
    - They may have varying extensions (.db, .csv etc,
configurable)
    - Each file in those directory (that hasn't changed for
a given
time period, say 1 day, configurable) needs to be compressed
(gzip)
