Can anyone recommend the best way to confirm that my drives
are
properly negotiating to sata2?  I have an
AOC-SAT2-MV8/marvell88sx
card, which during boot up prints this, making me question
the speed
of the drives:

SATA Gen1 signaling speed (1.5Gbps)

This is on Nexenta 1.0RC2, which is b85.

    The bootup message is likely correct.


Are these Seagate drives, and did you remove the jumper from them to permit them to use the 3.0G signaling rate? (its the little grey jumper on the back by the data connector... you might need a pin or needle to get it out)
